november charts

As I said, I'm trying to do monthly charts for Clubberia. Here is my selection for November. Plenty of fantastic records floating about, it wouldn't have been difficult to add another 5-10 releases to this list. The Sandwell and Raime releases are the only ones on this list that are not out yet, both are due this month.

Chris: November Charts

1. Sandwell District - "Feed Forward" (Sandwell District)
2. Shackleton vs. Kasai Allstars - "Mukuba Special" (Congotronics)
3. Senking - "Pong" (Raster-Noton)
4. Raime - "If Anywhere was here he would know where we are" (Blackest Ever Black)
5. Forest Swords - "Dagger Paths"
6. Instra:Mental - "Zones" (Semantica)
7. Kanding Ray - "Pruitt Igoe" (Raster-Noton)
8. Milton Bradley - "The End of All Existence" (The End of All Existence)
9. TVO / The Village Orchestra - "We Can Remember It For You Wholesale" (Broken20)
10. Western Standards - "Energy Centre" (Western Standards Recording Co.)

  1. Guys, it is NOT COOL to put the Sandwell record on top knowing that most of us still have to wait another month to hear it. At least get them to give us a small preview ;)

  2. Lovely chart Chris. My Semantica vinyl should be arriving in the post any time now - cannot fucking wait...

  3. Makuba Special is special indeed! The Mark Ernestus remix of Konono no. 1 was kind of a let down though. Trying to keep my vinyl orders domestic, does anyone know of any good places to order from in the states, aside from Forced Exposure?

  5. @ Wouter: i don't see why it matters that much. is it really going to kill you waiting a few more weeks? does this chart actually change your anticipation for it? 8 of the 10 you can get in the stores, apologies it is not 10 out of 10.
